Examples of facilitations, workshops, and presentations I have put together along with my fellow Leadership Consultants:
- InCredAble Leadership Conference Facilitation Guide
- This guide was put together by my fellow Leadership Consultants and I to ensure that the InCredAble Conference went smoothly. Every facilitator for the conference received this guide the day of their training. It details the entire breakdown of the day with instructions for activities, dialogue questions, a schedule, and details for each particular moment of the day. The layout of the day and the activities included in the program guide was put together by the InCredAble conference planning committee and the Leadership Consultants.
- Here is an infographic that discusses the success of the conference: Success of InCredAble Conference
- Conference – Small Group Sessions
- This is the power point used for the small group sessions during the 2016 InCredAble conference. Small groups met twice throughout the conference and did activities that helped with team building, discussed microaggressions, and gave the students time to self-reflect about what they learned throughout the day.
- Example L-Team Meeting
- This is an example of the types of activities and discussions we have during our weekly L-Team meetings. This particular meeting was planned by Amber Falls (Leadership Consultant) and I. It covered team building and communication.
- SIM U Scenario
- This activity is one that I developed along with Amber Falls for the 2016 Emerging Leaders Class. The point of this activity is to help students understand how difficult decisions regarding the university are made. Each student is provided with a role in the university and must use their knowledge of both the role and the situation in order to assist in solving the problem. The scenario and all of the role descriptions are included in the attached document.
- Values and Time Management
- This is the presentation I put together Fall of 2016 for the Active Leaders course I co-taught with Dr. Nick Lennon. The lesson was based on values and time management and featured two main activities. I had the students write down their current schedules and their ideal schedule and compare and contrast the two. I also had them participate in the a “Values auction” where they had to think about what they value they most.
- Self Care for Student Leaders
- This is a presentation I put together based off of the Student Leader Self-Care Assessment and Planning Worksheet created by C. Grisham. It is made for student leaders (or students that have a long to balance along with their classes).
